Afro Folk Hop
Mac Kelly is a Cameroonian musical artist and producer known for his unique Afro Folk Hop style. According to him, Afro Folk Hop is a music genre that blends elements of African folk music, hip-hop and other contemporary styles. He coined and popularized the term, materialized by the release of an album and an instrumental follow-up under that name in 2022.
Since 2006 he has been creating music centered on culture, patriotism and social issues. In March 2025 he incorporated Maculture Digitals as a limited liability company, becoming the founder and 100% owner of Maculture Digitals SARL, and holding 100% of all creative rights (composing, writing, performance, production and publishing) of all the musical tracks produced under his artist name Mac Kelly.
He looks forward to collaborations to fully monetize his catalogue, especially through sync and licensing (advertising, TV and radio).
